Jean-Robert was 10 years old when he drove a kart for the first time. From that moment , motorsport became a passion . His father Robert entered him for a kart race and from that first experience , he knew what was to be his ambitiuon in life : to become a racing driver.
He made steady progress throughthe different categories , gaining experience and becoming more competitive . He won races and was placed regularly . His performances qualified him to race in the top category (Super A) for the prestigious RACING TEAM TONYKART . The Super A has been the springboard for several champions (Schumacher, Hamilton , Kubica, Alonso , Raikkonen, ... ) .
His karting performances got him noticed by World Touring Car Champion Yvan MULLER and by Franck MARIE , the commercial director of Triple Eight Race Engineering . They took him under their wing and decided to help him in his career . After several tests in Formula BMW , JR competed in the Formula RENAULT British Championship , so has to gain the experience necessary for racing cars .
The next step was to send JR in Touring Car Championship . He raced in the SEAT SUPERCOPA and now in the SEAT EUROCUP where he proves his potential during each race .
