After a month of stop, the championship continues on the circuit of Oschersleben situated in hundred of kilometers from Berlin. After the beautiful performance shown at Brands Hatch, this weekend is going to be great.

Not having been able to make tests on this circuit which Jean Robert did not know, JR counts on the work made in England during the last race. During both sessions of free sessions, Jean Robert has to compose with a balance of his car disappointing in view of the potential shown one month earlier.

Qualifying session

They worked to improve the set-up, but the granted trial time is insufficient and the qualification looks difficult, as far as the weather report is one more time uncertain. Dashing on a finally dry track, Jean Robert hopes to fire the best of his car. In difficulties with the balance of this one in particular in the second sector of the circuit, Jean Robert succeeds in realizing finally the twelfth time .

Race 1

The first race of the weekend is expected with impatience, aware of their weakness in qualification but also their strength in race which became famous for numerous ascents. Jean Robert and his team were confident. The departures are a key point of Jean Robert and one more time he succeeds in gaining three places during this one but a competitor whom he precedes pushes him during the braking of the first bend. He restarts then far from the group in last position and cuts the finishing line in 18th place.

Race 2

Dissatisfied with the form of the first race, Jean Robert was very motivated during second and hopes to make a new ascent. He shows again that the settled departure raises him no problem and pass from 18th to 9th place in three bends , but the same competitor who had pushed him the day before push JR again . Restarted again far from the group in 20th position, Jean Robert goes back up again to cut the finishing line has the twelfth position.

« The weekend turned out really disappointing. After Brands Hatch, we waited for a confirmation of the potential shown there low but from the first sessions we understood that it would be difficult. The misunderstanding of the track handicaped me with regard to the others, the balance of the automobile was not ideal and that this was not evident to pilot this weekend. The incidents provoked by a competitor stopped ruining our hopes to register additional points on the championship, it is necessary to re-mobilize now fast and to concretize the work made this year to Imola from next week onwards »
