All the drivers are on the mythical circuit of Brands Hatch, thirty kilometers in the South of London, to compete for the fourth round of the championship .

Jean Robert waited, in the same way as Porto, to run this circuit on which he has already runned in British Formula Renault in 2005. The first session of free sessions took place on a wet track , the second on dry track . In spite of always uncertain weather , Jean Robert realizes the fifth time what expects a good qualification.

Qualifying session

Contrary to the previous weekends, the qualification takes place on Friday after noon(south) and not on Saturdays, the weather is again unpredictable but the drivers runs on a dry track. Jean Robert realizes the eighth time with tires already worn, at the time of stopping to put new tires , the rain makes its appararition and he and his team are forced to wait for the end of the shower. JR runs again right after the past shower but the track is not rather dry to improve its time and he hesitates to stop again putting the last set of new tyres, thinking that the weather will not be sufficient, error. Other certain competitors put their new tires in the last four minutes and improve their time pushing away Jean Robert in disappointing 11th place.

Race 1

Motivated to prove that their place in qualification does not represent their level of performance, JR and all the team appears on the starting grid,ready to be back up and if possible , in a good place for the second race. Jean Robert realizes a good departure which allows him to gain three places. The first seven drivers get loose from the others, following themself until the arrival . JR arrived 6th , his best classification since the beginning of the championship. What will allow him to start in the third position the next day.

Race 2

This third race promises to be exciting for him, to start of this position can allow him to finfish on the podium and even more. Jean Robert makes again a very good departure which allows him to pass in head from the first bend. Regrettably, the car drops out of the back train in the third bend. Jean Robert succeeds in controlling the car but the loss of speed, which causes the control, allows a competitor to overtake him in spite of an aggressive defense. Jean Robert tries then to filter in behind but another competitor collides him and he had spun around. JR restartes in 17th position, and he makes an incredible ascent to the seventh final place, the whole of which he has decorated with the second time in race.

« I am obviously disappointed with the final result, the victory was possible this weekend. I have difficulty in explaining this evasion of my car at this moment, I always pay attention to warm well my tires before a departure but well not enough this time this. The incident which follows is can be left my fault there, even if I would like to see the video. Nevertheless, this weekend remains positive, we showed our progress in term of performance, really became aware which we could now win and which it would be necessary to count with us for the last rounds of the season »
