Having missed the last round of the Seat Leon Eurocup, Jean Robert participated in the ultimate weekend end of his season in Spain on the circuit of Barcelona to compete for Supercopa Seat there. This Spanish championship uses the same automobiles as in only Eurocup tyres are different. A way for him to prepare the next season. Qualifying session
He realizes the sixteenth time in qualification, having improved his best previous time of about two seconds and of four seconds since the first session of free sessions. Satisfied by this improvement but a little disappointed by the result , JR looks forward to three races , aware of its capacity has to make ascents in the animated groups .
Race 1 & 2
The first race takes place after a fixed departure . He succeeds in gaining a place to finish on the twelfth place after seven laps of race. The second race is made following the first one. While the competitors dash for the lap of training, the car of JR does not start any more in spite of several attempts. The automobile is thus pushed in the way of pits and his mechanics run up. At the end of some minutes, the burned out fuse culprit is replaced and JR is going to position at the end of pits, waiting for the green light. That this is given only once all the past competitors, first, he resticks the last competitors what is made in two laps. It remains to him while five laps to gain the maximum of places before the arrival. He reached finally has to exceed four competitors to finish has the 21th position.
Race 3
Disappointed but nevertheless satisfies progress made since the beginning of the weekend, JR again hopes to make an ascent in the long race of fourteen laps of Sunday. Regrettably after a new good departure, a competitor makes has spun around, in front of him, JR does not succeed in avoiding the collision and the collision is inevitable after less than a lap.

« Many things were new for me this weekend with the team. It was necessary to adapt me has this approach of the set-up of the car, and they have of to adapt itself has my piloting. We progressed well all the weekend, the times in the first race would have been able to lead us to ten first ones but there was not the most important. The objective for me was above all to see how I felt in this team and estimate the possibility of collaborating the next season. »
